Summer Intern Program Our interns are an integral part of how this office functions. We only hire attorneys who have previously volunteered at this office. Students research areas of the law relative to new clients and new issues. They also get the opportunity to go to court with our attorneys and work directly with our clients. Over the years, the services of our interns have been invaluable and have allowed us to provide top notch legal services without high costs. Danielle Petitti began her career at Patricia Ann Fersch Family Law Center (FLC) as a summer intern. Ms. Petitti was able to secure funding from New York Law School’s public interest grant her first summer interning at the FLC and subsequently received work study funding. Intern applicants should have good research skills using either LexisNexis or WestLaw. They should have strong writing skills and be able to draft legal memorandum in a timely fashion. Interns should be able to function in a high energy environment and be able to comply with a deadline. If you are interested in an internship with Patricia Ann Fersch Family Law Center (FLC), please attach your resume and a writing sample to an email or fax it to us at (212) 422-2666. |
