Who We Are

We are a law office offering legal representation in Family and Matrimonial cases throughout the five boroughs of New York City charging on a sliding scale. We seek to bridge the gap for those litigants who can afford traditional legal fees and those who qualify for Legal Aid or fee Court appointed representation, by providing legal services to the working poor and middle class at varying rates.

A statement from our founder and director of litigation:

“My job is to assist people at a very difficult time in their lives. I try to keep a child-centered approach in all that I do and to maintain standards of fundamental fairness while being a strong advocate for my clients. Without an affordable lawyer clients are left to fend for themselves, or worse, abandon rights that should be enforced such as payment of child support. Civil litigation becomes the province of the very rich or the very poor. This office was created to fill the gap between those who cannot afford legal fees, but do not qualify for legal aid or free legal services as well as to provide legal services to those who must litigate complex, difficult, and lengthy legal issues such as child custody” - Patricia Ann Fersch, Esq.
